Our Testimonials

Still unsure? Have a look at what some of Lorie’s previous clients have to say about her work.

Meet Lorie Reeh

From a young age, it was apparent to everyone around me that I had a special relationship with animals. When I was 7 years old, an Old English Sheepdog wandered into our yard as I was playing. My mother asked me where she came from, but I didn’t know. What I did know for certain was that her name was Bess. My mom asked me how I knew her name, and I replied, “Because she told me.” Eventually, we found out that she belonged to a neighbor several miles away. Her name was, in fact, Bess.

My entire childhood is filled with stories like Bess’. From reconnecting owners with deceased pets to aid in the healing process, to recommending solutions for behavioral and diet-related issues, I can help you with your pet’s unique situation.

Currently, I am studying under Dr. Maia Kincaid, a world-renowned animal and nature communicator, to become a certified master animal communicator specializing in animal behavior & veterinary issues.  I am excited to help people and their pets learn from each other and enhance their relationships. It is a beautiful gift to help animals and the people they care about, and I look forward to hearing how I can help you and the animals in your life.

In the Community

  • Raptor Rescue

Since 2015 I have been a member of the Fontenelle Forest rescue team. We are a team of 1st responders and field calls to pick up raptors (birds of prey), assess their injuries or illnesses, and record where they were picked up, so they can be released back into the same area. We administer first aid and set up transport to a rehabilitation center in Elmwood, NE.

My ability to communicate with the raptors has helped our group immensely. We have handled and treated Golden & Bald Eagles, many species of hawks, owls, and falcons.

  • TNR Program

I established a trap-neuter-return program in my hometown of Alliance, Nebraska. This program alters feral cats to control population, slow disease which is spread by fighting and breeding, and make community cats more pleasant to share our neighborhood with.

We take a systematic approach to feral cat colonies. First, I evaluate the colonies, set up feeding schedules, and notify neighborhoods to educate them about the process. Second, we trap the cats and transport them to a clinic, assist the clinic during surgery, and transport them to an overnight holding facility. Third, we monitor the cats post- surgery and release them after they are fully awake and recovering well. Lastly, I follow up to see that no new feral cats have moved in. I am committed to this mission so cats can live in peace with each other and neighborhoods.

  • Wiggly Field Dog Park

I am one of the original founders of Wriggly Field dog park in Alliance, Nebraska. This dog park is centrally located and gives dogs and residents in Alliance access to an open field for exercise and socialization. Our group also offers training classes to prepare for Canine Good Citizen testing. I am a certified CGC Evaluator and offer test dates upon request.
